What BiopathFx can do for youTestimonials

Since 2013, hundreds of people from around the globe have had the opportunity to participate in our program. Given the breadth and depth of our methodology, there are literally no limitations to the types of problems or goals that may be addressed. As a result, clients have seen transformations in areas ranging from cognitive impairment to full-blown, chronic diseases. Here is just a sampling of some of the feedback we have received over the years.

Brain fog and cognitive impairment

During my service in Kosovo over 20 years ago, I sustained several severe blows to the head. Ever since, I had suffered from severe PTSD and insomnia. Doctors put me on a cocktail of anti-depressants, benzos, and NSAIDs on and off, but nothing could touch my anxiety and sense of doom and gloom. As the years passed, I found it increasingly difficult to remember things. From my lack of sleep and meds, I would frequently forget where I put things and even had difficulty paying bills. It got so bad at one point that I was even afraid to leave the house.

Thank my lucky stars I found John and the […] program. I was on the verge of suicide when we met, but he urged me to get my DNA scanned, saying it would help us figure out how my body and brain reacted to my previous traumas. I was reluctant at first, but eventually, I gave in and did it. It was at that point everything turned around. We identified genetic liabilities for decreased neurogenesis (creating new brain cells), runaway inflammation, and even an explanation for my familial history of anxiety and pain medication abuse.

After just a month of following the protocol, I was able to cut my meds in half and felt for the first time that the fog was lifting. Here we are 2 years later, and at the age of 41, I am in the best shape of my life. I’m totally off all medications, I do HIIT and resistance training several times a week, and I’ve got a thriving startup. I will be forever in your debt for getting me through hell. I can truthfully say you saved my life. Thank you!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for bringing me from the brink of what was probably early onset dementia. My mother died of Alzheimer’s disease and I was constantly an emotional mess whenever I showed any signs of mental slow-down. Whether it was not being able to finish a sentence or having to read a page in my favorite book 5 or more times before I got it, I was convinced I was slowly losing my mind.

I had already done all the DNA reports online and thought I knew a thing or two, but you totally blew me away with your depth of knowledge and understanding. You found things that go way, way beyond just APOE. Working with you has been a huge learning experience. I now know enough about glycolysis, ketosis, the brain-gut connection, insulin, inflammation, and amyloid plaques, it could fill a book! But more importantly, you gave me back my peace of mind.

All of my symptoms are now gone and I live each day knowing that I am equipped with the knowledge to keep myself out of harm’s way. And that means the world to me!

All my life, I’ve had difficulty keeping up with others. School studies were always hard and I had to work two or three times more than everyone else on things even into adulthood. I always just thought I was “slow”. Little did I know that my Dad also had these problems, and I didn’t find out about it until I went through your program and discovered my genetics for long-term potentiation…which you said was connected with learning and remembering things.

You also showed me how issues in mitochondrial DNA were playing a role in brain function as well as energy levels and performance. The list goes on and on, but I will tell you one thing… within 2 months on your program, my Dad was so impressed with the changes he saw in me, he shared with me for the first time that he also had these challenges as a young man. It turns out he still struggles and is interested in talking to you, too!

As for me, I feel finally like I’m on top of things and can now not only make plans for my life but follow through with them as well. I am grateful to you for showing me my true potential. My family will definitely be telling others about your work.

Chronic fatigue and low energy

I first heard mention of your work from a client of yours who said you had improved his life and health in countless ways while I conversed with him at a health products shop. I was struck by the changes he described, and the way he described your incredibly high level of systematic knowledge. I kept your contact information for a future date, in case I ever needed the help he described. Little did I know it would be only two months later that I would be reaching out for your assistance in the midst of an enormous crisis.

I had just reversed the main symptoms of Lyme disease over the course of three years before when, over the course of about two weeks, I crashed and fell into a state of extremely deep depression compounded by anxiety. Waking up from sleep was like entering a nightmare. Everything that had worked for me up until that point, especially low/no-carb dieting, no longer did, and I had no idea where to look. All the energy I had when dealing with health problems in the previous years was gone. I was now dealing with dysbiosis, an inability to tolerate almost all dietary carbohydrates, constant eczema, fatigue, depression, anxiety, zero appetite, water retention, low libido, and even an inability to sweat during intense training. As you pointed out, despite my nearly completely carnivorous diet – I was protein deficient, and therefore, deficient in dopamine. It turned out from your analysis of my labs that I had been making several mistakes daily for the past three years that had cost me greatly.

As soon as we began working together I felt a great sense of relief that my health was finally in the hands of an expert. Early on, my joints healed completely after Lyme (due to your recommendations to use BPC-157 and red light therapy). Over time, I regained the ability to tolerate dietary carbohydrates, and my dysbiosis was eventually reversed. I no longer ran to the bathroom in the middle of a meal – my bowel movements became regular. I gained muscle quickly, and was consistently sweating while working out. I regained my normal feeling of hunger as well as a strong, healthy libidinous drive. My depression and anxiety cleared and my motivation grew tremendously, which resulted in my eventual acceptance into medical school. Through our work together, I was able to come out of the pits of depression and fatigue and achieve hormonal health, emotional stability, and decide on a course for my life. I can say with certainty that without you, Mr. Gregory, I would have probably wasted years making serious mistakes with regard to my health, and I would not have achieved even a fraction of the improvements you helped me to attain, and for that I am forever grateful to you. Thank you.

When I was a teenager, I was one of the top sprinters in my class. People called me “bottle of lightning”, not just because I was fast but also from all the energy I had. I literally couldn’t slow down and was part of more than 10 extracurricular groups both in and outside of school. They said I was burning my candle at both ends, and when I hit 30, that prophecy came true. I crashed so hard and fast, I probably could have died. I lost my job, my boyfriend, and turned to food for comfort. By the time I was 35, I was in full blown depression with hardly enough energy to get out of the house and buy groceries.

It wasn’t until I started having things catered and running up my debts that I knew I had to find some answers. I saw literally a hundred different doctors, therapists, coaches, chiropractors, you name it. They said my thyroid was fine and that my vitals were completely normal. I kept hearing “it’s all in your head”. But every morning when I had to drag myself out of bed, I knew they couldn’t be right. I was at the end of my rope when a friend of mine that lives in Mexico told me about you. The rest, as they say, is history.

The doctors never told me about the citrate cycle or mitochondria. And they definitely said nothing about a compromised blood brain barrier. But you were right. After doing the Cyrex panel, everything was like you said it would be. How you could predict all of that from just looking at my genes I will probably never understand. To be honest, I only read half of your report. It was just too much to process. All I can say is I am glad I trusted you and ignored the voice in my head saying that only I know what’s right for myself.

I took a leap of faith with you, and it’s changed everything. Now I’m back to sprinting, but I know my limits. Everything in moderation, as you constantly told me. Anyway, just wanted to tell you how thankful I am for sticking with me, even when I said there was no hope. Big hugs!

After our first child was born, we were living in a mold damaged house without knowing about it. The rest of the family didn’t have any issues, but I got quite sick and we eventually ended up moving. Nearly 10 years after that, I was experiencing intense cognitive decline and unbearable fatigue. A functional doctor diagnosed me with chronic fatigue syndrome, but none of the tests showed any issues with mold.

They tried all kinds of therapies, including elimination diets, vitamin IVs, and Shoemaker’s CIRS protocol. I had some success with CIRS therapies, but I was never able to return to the sports activities I enjoyed, before I got sick, like cycling and kayaking. I just didn’t have the ability to sustain energy for long periods of time. Your program helped guide me to health in a fraction of the time I spent on the other therapies. After running the inflammatory “cytokine” panel and blood-brain permeability test, we discovered persistent, chronic neuro-inflammation. With your analysis of my genetics, I came to a better understanding of how pathways like TGF-beta and “complements” were involved in my hyper immune response to past mold exposure, and how that changed gene expression over time.

I’ve got my life back thanks to your protocols. I no longer have to bow out of activities with my friends that require strenuous exertion. I even started cycling 30 miles a week again. I’m truly grateful!

Enhanced motor skills and sports performance

I actively participate in competitive Taekwondo. I’m absolutely meticulous about my diet and lifestyle and hold to a very strict sleep regimen. Prior to meeting you, I was unable to clear the top 25th percentile regardless of endless hours of GTF training and practice. My peers were excelling in all areas, and most had mastered Jee-Goo (black belt level) . I had slowly been coming to the conclusion that perhaps I had hit a plateau and would never be able to improve my game.

Working with you has been a real eye-opener. You laid out the biomechanics of muscular control, balance and mental acuity in such a way that covered all possible angles for me. I would never have imagined that my genes for troponins and muscle contraction could have such an effect over my ability to engage difficult techniques like the hook kick.

The approach you gave me for increasing Type II muscle fibers was all-encompassing. I went through a three-month intense program that not only involved cognitive exercises but also what seemed to me, at first, to be extremely exotic strength training exercises. I had so many looks at my outdoor workouts when I was doing that “Verkhoshansky” set. But back at the dojang, everyone started to notice and I mean everyone. I was scoring points with sparring partners in record time and within a six-month period, rose to the 10th percentile. One of the most intimidating practitioners in the class actually ended up approaching me and asking what I had been doing, since there was such an obvious difference. He didn’t believe me when I told him about the PAP training. But that’s okay with me. Let them be skeptical.

Point is…. you’ve improved my game in ways that I could never have imagined and gave me the tools to not only maintain the techniques but also take this as far as I want to go. Your approach is truly original. It’s only a matter of time before everyone one hears about it in the world of competitive sports.

When I first met John, I had no idea he was also an accomplished pianist and violinist. I had come to him looking for advice on how I could work around some chronic tendinitis and other technical issues from over practicing. I didn’t have the luxury of taking time off, given that I make a living as a musician, so I needed some quick answers.

Knowing what I know now, I wish I were in the same city with this guy! I would be scheduling in person consults with him just for the piano lessons. Not only did he show me how to get around my repeat-stress injuries, but he had me take videos of myself playing from different angles and ended up describing to me exactly how the problems started. He also brought out recordings of Ashkenazy and Watts and compared them to my own recordings and showed me how my flawed technique was holding me back in terms of not only agility but also interpretation.

This has been an enlightening experience for me. Not only am I free of symptoms, but my entire perception of phrasing, time, and touch have changed dramatically.

John, please listen to what I said about making some webinars for pianists. Your technique is groundbreaking and I know you could help many, many people take things to new levels, not only in performance but also in listening and interpretation. You are a treasure! Thank you for everything!

Weight optimization

You probably remember me best from all those angry emails in the beginning, while I argued with your demands for me to quit doing intermittent fasting and ketogenic diet. Even though I lost over 50 pounds over the course of just 4 months, when I came to you, I was feeling absolutely awful! I was having hypoglycemic episodes, and my sleep had deteriorated horribly. I was so afraid of gaining my weight back that I didn’t want to listen to what you were saying about cortisol, metabolic problems with fat, and insulin resistance… But the labs didn’t lie!

Yes, I had lost weight with keto, but you made it very clear that with time, all of that would be reversed due to out-of-control cortisol and lower diversity of microbes in the gut. I couldn’t believe what the stool test had to say about zonulin and secretory IgA along with the other lab showing high cortisol, both morning and night. Add to that high fasting glucose, and no more proof was necessary.

You finally convinced me that intermittent fasting has no place until other metabolic issues had been handled first. Now, I’ve been doing HIIT and strategic resistance training and my glucose and HbA1c have all come into line. No longer do I have the morning anxiety or the blood sugar crashes two hours after eating! Metabolic flexibility was the key, and I never could have implemented this lifestyle change without your help. I am now 10 pounds lighter than when we started, and my increased lean muscle mass has also helped me reverse insulin resistance!

Please keep doing what you’re doing! There are so many fads out there that need debunking. I hope you’ll be able to get the word out and put more people on the right track.

Obesity runs in my family. Everyone except my youngest sister has a problem with it. No matter if I count calories, walk 6 miles a day, or fast twice a week (all of which I have done, actually), my weight doesn’t budge. I never go lower than 170, and I’m only 5’4”! A friend of mine and client of yours told me about your program last year, but it took me longer than that to actually come to the point where I knew I needed your help. I was so afraid that my problem was genetic and that nothing could be done about it.

Thank you for putting my concerns to rest! You took the time to explain to me how genes and environment conspired together to create my problems. Nobody has ever gone to such depths as you have into my medical and family history. Not only did you go above and beyond in trying to understand my issues, but you brought it all together in a way that makes complete sense. I will admit I don’t completely understand everything you were telling me about PPAR, adipocytes, and leptin. All I know is that I trusted you from day one. From our first conversation, I knew I had found somebody that wasn’t just going through the motions like my other practitioners, but genuinely wanted to understand what is going on and help people.

My family still can’t believe how much weight I’ve lost. Unfortunately, when I shared details about the regimen, they all say they could never do it. Little do they know that it’s not about willpower. It’s about doing your best to understand how your body works and taking the necessary steps to correct things, one little bit at a time. I am so glad I stuck it out with you! There were times I wanted to run away, but eventually, I knew I had to keep going to the very end. Now, it’s all become a habit, and I don’t have to think twice about what to do or when to do it. Thank you so much for laying everything out in a simple to understand way. I can honestly say that you changed my life!

Working with John has been an extremely rewarding experience which I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who is interested in investing in their capacity to achieve optimal health. John’s exceptional insight and cutting-edge scientific analyses have served to elucidate the most prudent course of action in pursuing my greatest heath. I cannot imagine where else I could possibly have accessed this level of in-depth knowledge of my biology and how to go about living in a way that allows me to enjoy my life to the highest degree.

I came to John as a last-ditch effort, tired and out of hope for any conventional half measures to treat symptoms of an unknown cause that I had experienced for over a decade. I inquired with the utmost skepticism and was impressed to see my worst symptoms had been alleviated within just a few weeks of following the customized dietary and supplementation protocol. In my experience, my health was completely transformed from a daily experience of debilitating headaches, lethargy, and brain fog, to now enjoying the best health of my life. My only complaint is that I did not inquire earlier. This work has shattered my prior concepts of what’s possible with my own health and healing and I’d strongly recommend that anyone drawn to John’s work seriously consider how their lived experience may be enhanced by investing in their capacity to nourish their body.

If insomnia had a face, it would be mine. After years of working as a DJ into the early hours of the morning, I eventually hit rock bottom, and was only getting one to two hours of sleep a night. It didn’t even matter when I would go to sleep. I couldn’t relax, sleep was shallow, and after over two years of that, I felt like I was actually going insane. It wasn’t until I almost got in a car accident one day with my baby in a car seat in the back that I decided it was time to do something. I’ve been dozing off in random places for a long time, but that near accident was a wake-up call for me.

By the time I found your site, I had already tried everything. I had a severe Phenibut addiction, and it was only making things worse. Literally nothing could take the edge off my anxiety and being on edge constantly, I was at the point where somebody ringing the doorbell would even make me jump. Luckily, I had done the 23andMe DNA test two years before we met. It was a family gift! I didn’t think there was anything useful with that, so I just tossed it in the drawer. But…. what you are able to do with that data just blows my mind! I knew from using other services and reports that I had issues with glutamate, serotonin, and other genes like BMAL1, which all play a role in sleep. But no matter how many hacks I applied from all those reports, nothing changed! You explained to me how those reports are all looking in the wrong place. Well, it wasn’t until we did that gut test that I finally understood how all those years of sleep deprivation and late nights had changed things “down below”. It made me sensitive to certain foods, and those foods were breaking down my gut barrier and causing inflammation all over my body, especially in my brain.

Here we are just six months later, and I have never slept so well in my entire life! There were some rocky moments when things got worse, but I’m so glad I pushed through it. I can’t thank you enough. I never would’ve thought that changes in diet, sun exposure, and even light on the eyes at night could have such huge impacts on sleep rhythm. Now, I get to sleep and stay asleep with zero supplementation. All it took was looking at things from the right angle and taking a systematic approach to correct each problem, one by one. I could not have done it without you. You’re the best!

I had a huge problem waking up with shock in the middle of the night for no reason. It just came on without warning, and it was getting worse and worse as time went on. I did sleep tests, and even though they showed me waking up, nobody would tell me exactly what was happening. All my labs were normal, and the doctors were saying that it’s just stress! It was around the time that the doctor wanted to prescribe antidepressants that I realized I had to find help elsewhere. I just knew in my heart this was not just from stress. I never had issues like this before, and never even had any trauma to blame. Sleeping only 4-5 hours a night was taking a huge toll on my job and my life. Insomnia was causing stress, not the other way around!

I never in 1 million years would think that I have a blood sugar problem. None of my lab tests ever showed issues of blood sugar, but you pushed me to do another test… I jumped through some hoops and was able to do another sleep study with blood sugar monitoring. Sure enough, there was a huge dip in blood sugar followed by an adrenaline surge at 2:30 in the morning! Nobody ever thought to look at that.

If you told me a year earlier, I probably would say it’s crazy! But you want to know what’s really crazy?…. how you found the root cause for this problem. I probably will never comprehend how you did it, because it’s a little like magic for me, but when you brought everything together with my medical history and blood tests, it was obvious that my body had issues maintaining stable blood sugar in times of stress or going long periods without food. I always knew I would start to “shake” if I waited too long to eat, but you helped me understand that this was an issue with gluconeogenesis.

With some simple changes, you helped me bridge the gap and now, there are no more awakenings at night. And I no longer have to carry snacks when I’m working long hours or in situations when I can eat a full meal! Thank you so much for your guidance!

Biological age reversal

After my divorce, I was in a very vulnerable place because of all the emotional trauma I had been through and wear and tear I put on my body. Looking in the mirror, it was as if I had aged decades in just the course of a couple of years. I had always been health conscientious, but this time, I was just feeling run down. I had no energy, my skin was hanging, I had more wrinkles than I could remember, and twice as many gray hairs. During our first conversation, you told me about the epigenetic clock and telomeres. I’d heard about these before, but I was so afraid to run the test you recommended. I didn’t want to see that I was biologically 20 years older than my actual age. I finally got up the courage, and I did the test!

Thank you for spending the time to help me come to grips with what was happening with my body. I didn’t know about all those peptide therapies or the ways in which supplements and nutrition could be used to improve gene expression and stop the aging clock in its tracks. There are so many gold nuggets in my report, I lost count. I especially appreciated the part about how mTOR operates differently in each person. Even though it was slightly intimidating to think about cancer risks, you set my mind at ease giving me solid strategies for protection against DNA damage, stem cell depletion, and excess inflammation. The ideas for skincare, alone, are worth every cent!

None of those over-the-counter, expensive creams I bought could ever compare with the custom concoctions you helped me make that addressed my own individual gene expression for skin renewal and maintenance. I’ve even started growing more dark hairs back on my head, and that’s simply amazing! (Side note, I’m getting looks again from younger guys).

I haven’t yet done the repeat telomere test, because I want to go a bit further before measuring it again, but just based on how I feel, I know that something is happening. I have more energy now in my 50s than I did when I was in my 20s.

Autoimmune disorders

I was living a complete nightmare before I came to you. I had all the classic symptoms: pain and tenderness all of my body, insomnia, numbness in my hands and feet, headaches, depression, and more. My doctor kept telling me it was just a sign of “getting older”, but I knew better. It was fibromyalgia. I must’ve gone through 10 different clinics, before I finally found somebody that believed that fibromyalgia was actually a disease. Unfortunately, they had no idea what to do about it. They sent me to chiropractors, massage therapists, gave me NSAIDs and other meds for nerve pain like that awful Gabapentin. One of them even wanted to put me on an Paxil! I was getting nowhere, and I knew I had to find a solution.

To make a long story short, I’m just so glad I found you! You convinced me that genes held the key to understanding what my body was in so much pain. Per your advice, I did the whole genome scan, and though I had to wait a long time to get the results back (probably 3 months), you had answers for me in a matter of days. It turns out that not only do I have issues with arachidonic acid metabolism which (you said) could be a problem for nerve myelination…but my body also isn’t producing enough of its own cannabinoids. Combined with imbalances in serotonin and norepinephrine and a predisposition to hyper-immune response to allergens, I’m a walking time bomb for nerve pain!

There are so many other things you showed me, but the thing that most sticks out in my mind is how all these pathways are connected. Everyone else just focuses on the symptoms. You’re the only person I know that is trying to put all the pieces together into one big picture, but the proof, as they say, is in the pudding. And as of the time I write this, I am absolutely pain-free, and I’ve gotten back to exercising without the muscle pain I used to have. It’s been an absolute miracle! Thank you so much for all your help!

My problem started out as a subtle ringing in the ears. Everyone was telling me that it is tinnitus, and I believed them until I began feeling nausea all the time and would get intensely dizzy after just standing up or turning around too fast. I got really worried, and I went to see a neurologist. He couldn’t find anything and told me that I should be checked out for allergies. I knew that couldn’t be right. People that knew me were telling me that I wasn’t hearing what they were saying, and they had to repeat themselves more often, especially in noisy rooms. That spun me into some mild anxiety, so I started doing all the latest tests out there, including the 23andMe.

I got a few reports saying that I was prone to inflammation, but nothing that would point to hearing loss, tinnitus, or chronic dizziness. None of the remedies I tried worked (and I tried a lot!) I remember hearing about you in some fringe Facebook group, and I usually take most of what I hear in those groups with a grain of salt. But one woman kept raving about you on instant messaging, telling me that I just had to connect with you. She said you were some sort of miracle worker. I was completely skeptical, but I was also desperate.

I’m a little bit embarrassed to say that I’m now just as enthusiastic as that woman was. I would never have guessed Ménière’s disease, but we started going through my labs, my family history, and my genetics. You started pointing out patterns in electrolyte imbalances, water retention, and kidney health. Who would have thought these are connected with the ringing in my ears!? But you connected all those dots….everything from the familial history of high blood pressure, edema, and even my mother and sisters’ intolerance for boat rides on the Duna. When you said I might have higher expression for vasopressin receptors, I will admit I laughed. But you know what? All of those interventions you recommended actually worked! My blood pressure dropped, I no longer had any dizzy spells, and in just four months time, even the tinnitus is gone.

There are a lot of other things you talked about in my report, and now with the success we got with this problem, I’m confident we can solve all the other ones. I’m so thankful I listened to the “hype”!

Idea generation and elaboration

I’m in marketing for living. I won’t lie, it wasn’t my first choice for a profession, but I’ve always been a good talker, and my mother always said if I didn’t become a lawyer, I should just make a living selling “ice to Eskimos”. And that’s exactly what I did. My first job was selling cars on a used lot. It was a crash course and not all that pleasant, but I learned a lot about what makes people want to buy things.

Last year, I was given the opportunity of a lifetime working directly for a media company selling audio and video production services to Fortune 500 companies. Salary and bonuses were beyond my wildest imagination, but the demands quickly got far out of control. Not only was I responsible for selling other people’s ideas, but I got roped into the creative process as well. One thing led to another, and I found myself in late night meetings with a team of designers working on storyboards. I was way out of my depth, but I was so afraid of losing the job, that I tried my best to wing it.

The boss called me into her office one night, and I thought my game was up, but it turns out that she wanted to put me in charge of one of the larger content design departments. I freaked out. I said yes, then ran home and drank nearly a whole bottle of wine, trying to forget that I had no concept of how to execute my future responsibilities. That’s about when I came across your work. A colleague told me how you helped another copywriter reach ungodly levels of output. When I first heard about it, I thought for sure you were peddling drugs or worse, nootropic snake oil. What a surprise I had during our first consultation!

I don’t want to ramble on, but I feel like you took me apart and put me back together again. When we started out, I thought you were just going to give me a few tips on how I could improve my cognitive abilities and get a slight edge on productivity. Instead, you pushed me into activities and lifestyle changes that completely challenged my comfort zone. Your technique for maintaining neuroplasticity, as you call it, and generating new ideas out of nowhere will likely one day be legendary! Don’t take this the wrong way, but I’m not likely to tell anyone else in my network about your services, lest they figure out how I came up with one of the top selling ads for my agency. Your program had a huge impact on my productivity. I will never forget the work we did together!

For many years, I headed up a small acting troupe in a small town. As a young woman, I had dreams of going to Hollywood and being a big-time director. But as of many things in life, my plans got sidetracked and I ended up raising a small family instead. When I first reached out to you, it was to handle a huge allergy problem I had been suffering from but over the course of a couple of months (and much to my pleasant surprise), our conversation gradually led to the subject of artistic creativity. You shared with me some of your musical compositions, and described the way in which you wrote them and recorded them. At first, I didn’t really understand why you wanted me to listen to that. Over time, I came to appreciate the way that you connect different sensory experiences and interpret them as a whole.

After we handled the allergy problem, you asked me if I wanted to pursue that dream to be a director. I remember you saying, “it’s not about going to Hollywood, but being the best indie film producer in the genre that you choose.” In other words, you didn’t want me chasing after someone else’s dream, but creating my own. After over a year working with you, I can honestly say that I would’ve gotten stuck in my little town probably forever had I not listened to that initial advice.

You gave me so much media to process, including films, performance art, music, and even had me sign up for a few videography classes. When it all came together, I had a totally different outlook on what it meant to be a choreographer and a director. You took for me from the point of interpreting other people’s stories to not only creating my own narrative, but bringing it into full, vivid life in such a way that the people participating could become infected by the ideas I was creating. These days, I’m no longer working in the theater, but have started producing indie films, just as you predicted! While I’m not yet ready for the Cannes Film Festival, my work has taken on a whole new meaning.

My girlfriend and I were going through a crisis. We’d both been married before and we both had children. We didn’t want to start all over again, but we definitely wanted to enjoy each other. We both felt young in our late 40s, but something was missing in our love life. She was too polite to say anything about it, and I was too embarrassed to look for help. It wasn’t till a man 10 years my senior told me about how you turned around his marriage by giving him his vitality and libido back. At first, I thought it was just some shill affiliated with your program. I must’ve read over your site hundred times before I actually came to the conclusion that we had to connect.

Right from the beginning, I knew I made the right decision. It was so easy to share everything with you. I didn’t feel any sense of judgment or criticism, and your knowledge of biology and genetics is just… a whole other game. Even in the first review of my DNA data, you showed me how I was prone to “aromatization” of testosterone to estrogen and less conversion to DHT. None of the doctors even look at those things. When I asked them to test my estrogen, they just laughed!

Fast-forward to just two months after I started your protocol, everything is completely different now. You gave me the tools I needed to not only find the right hormone doctor, but also give him the necessary information to work with me to hone in on my individual weaknesses. Now that I know what to test for, and how to interpret things myself, I’m no longer playing the guessing game. I’ve got my manhood back, and I have more libido now than when I was a teen! As you said, libido begins and ends in the head. Doesn’t matter how much testosterone you’ve got if your dopamine has tanked!

Allergy eradication

When I was a child, I came down with an extremely high fever. My parents were worried that I was going to die, and I laid in bed for three days before they finally asked the doctor for the strongest antibiotic available at that time. I did get better very quickly, but during the years after that illness, I became allergic to everything. It wasn’t just sneezing or sniffling, but life-threatening, severe asthma attacks. When they took me for allergy testing, I had reactions to just about every skin test. The doctor put me on a diet free of milk, eggs, bread, and just about every other food a kid could possibly want.

As I got older, some of these sensitivities disappeared, but the asthma and hyper-reactivity only got worse with time. Thank heavens our paths crossed, because otherwise, I would’ve been on an endless cycle of natural remedies and dietary restrictions. You are the first person I met that was able to see the connection between my heavy menstruation as a teenager and intensified allergic reactions in adulthood. You showed me how that one incident with antibiotics in childhood, combined with naturally high estrogen in puberty and early adulthood, set the stage for a lifelong issue with severe dysbiosis and gut permeability. With my hormone fluctuations and compromised immunity, I didn’t stand a chance against allergens.

After a battery of tests followed by a cycle of targeted supplementation and dietary restriction, you unraveled my allergies completely! Not only am I now able to eat foods that would produce terrible reactions in the past, but I’m breathing easy and no longer have the shortness of breath that was always following me around like a dark shadow. I will definitely be recommending your program to as many people as I can.

Wow, just wow! I’ve never gotten this kind of detail about my health and medical history, and I’ve seen some of the top specialists out there. My wife and I were on the verge of taking on the expense of a huge move because of the annual ragweed allergies I was having. They were debilitating. Every year I would lose sleep, my job would suffer, and my family relationships were strained beyond the breaking point. I must’ve tried every kind of air filter, allergy mask, nasal rinses, acupressure, homeopathy… you name it. Nothing worked. The allergy shots even made things worse!

When I told you that I have tried the tinctures in the past with no success, you asked me to do it again, but this time, with special support for tolerance induction. You brought everything together in a way that I could easily understand. You connected my diet, my sleep, and even my exercise patterns and showed me how to take all the necessary steps to help my body unlearn its reaction to ragweed. My family can’t thank you enough. Were now going to be able to stay in our home town, and I no longer have to dread the allergy season. What a blessing!

Development of intuition

Relationships have always been hard for me. I would frequently hear my partners complain that I was too “up in my head” and unable to sympathize with what they were going through. I always thought it was just my upbringing, because my father was from the old school that taught us that we need to be strong, no matter what’s happening around us… “Never show your weak side”. Being a young woman in a demanding profession, I was driven further into a mindset that nothing should faze me. I wanted to be in control of everything, and not waste time or energy on being sad, depressed, or hyper-emotional.

It wasn’t until I got in a car accident with my boyfriend and left him at the scene of the accident (so that I wouldn’t be late for an important meeting) that things changed for me. He had a broken arm and was sitting in the hospital completely alone. After that, he gave me an ultimatum… “Get help or live your life without me.” He was very important to me, and much more than just a friend, so I took his advice.

Unfortunately, the psychologist that I consulted just wanted to fill me with empty rhetoric about mindfulness, feeling others, and “finding my inner child”. None of that felt genuine to me. My gut told me that I am who I am because of my genetics. So I actively started looking for somebody that could interpret my DNA with a perspective on emotions. Well, that’s like finding a needle in a haystack, apparently!

I don’t remember how I found your site, but I do remember our first conversation. You looked at my DNA data, and immediately saw problems with oxytocin, dopamine, and serotonin. You said that “neurochemistry informs emotions and vice versa”. After signing up for your program, you helped me do a deep dive into my family history. I now understand how my father and I are more alike than I ever imagined. Further, the way that I was raised and the experiences I had in early childhood helped to form how my genes are expressed, even to this day.

You showed me how the choices we make in life and the people we spend time with can influence the way our body and brain function. I never made that association before. I’ve been working with you for nearly a year now, and in that time, I found the ability to release old wounds, get in touch with emotions I didn’t even know I had, and even experience the relationship with my boyfriend in a completely different way. I never thought I would say this, but now when he says I’m not listening to him, I actually have the ability to stop what I’m doing and actually hear him. Anybody that knows me well will tell you that’s … just impossible. What you are doing is totally amazing, and I hope that more people find you.

Stress management

I work in a television and radio production company. In addition to constantly having to move around from project to project, I’m always working with impossible deadlines and long, demanding nights which lead to me getting very little sleep. In the last two years, I had seen frightening elevations in blood pressure and various other symptoms that started to worry me, including random panic attacks, bouts of anxiety, and even skipped heartbeats on occasion. I knew my schedule was too stressful, but I couldn’t bring myself to give up the lifestyle. My work is my passion. I wanted to iron things out somehow.

Before I came to you, I sought help in an endless number of places. I did everything from pharmaceutical anxiety meds to going the all-natural route with Chinese herbs and meditation. I had gone through an expensive and exhaustive search where I tried Reiki and a few other approaches like hypnosis, rolfing, and even The Landmark Forum. But nothing could touch my unrelenting sense of anxiety, tension and stress. The got to the point where even if I would take a vacation, I just couldn’t calm down and relax. I had become habituated to working under the gun and needing to feel that I was being productive around the clock. Sitting meditation was a complete impossibility. My biology was geared to a high intensity, high-stakes lifestyle.

By the time we had her first conversation, I was literally running on fumes, fueled by coffee and other stimulants. I couldn’t do anything without them. I had even been toying around with an amphetamine prescription, trying to get my mood and focus up, but it just wasn’t working. I kept sinking deeper into a state of despair and chaos.

You’ve cleared so many things up for me on so many levels. Not only did you show me how I was “put together” mentally and physically, but you gave me a long-term plan on how to basically “re-architect” my impossible work schedule and pull back the reins on my overactive nervous system. And even though I didn’t want to hear it at the time, you kept telling me that I had to eventually consider a different line of work. I knew it wouldn’t be feasible to work less, given the industry I’m in, but somehow, it eventually happened! I moved into a post-production, oversight role that, although still quite demanding, doesn’t have nearly the same erratic hours, and gives me much more flexibility… all without sacrificing my passion for innovation and creativity.

I just want to say, your attention to detail is borderline outrageous! You picked apart my medical history at a level that I didn’t even think was possible. You drew connections between my childhood illness and traumatic events in my early-adult life to the reactions I’m having now, showing how they were changing my body and brain. How you accomplished all this in such a short time is totally beyond my comprehension. Right now, I have mental clarity and energy that far surpass the levels of my youth. And I’m doing it without any stimulants whatsoever!

I’ve tried to get several of my colleagues to talk to you, but they’re all so stubborn. Just like me a year ago, they don’t want to admit they’ve got a problem. I don’t know where I would be today if I hadn’t found you 10 months ago. All I can say is thank you.

It’s rare to meet somebody that not only has deep technical knowledge in a subject, but also has the understanding and experience to apply that knowledge in fresh, new ways. I don’t know of anybody else that’s doing what you are. It’s one thing to be familiar with genetics and their effects on health, but it’s a whole other thing to be able to put all the pieces together and visualize how that makes a person who they are, from top to bottom. You showed me things about myself that I never realized, even with years of psychotherapy and self work.

I can’t say much about what I do, because that would reveal more than I am comfortable sharing. It should be enough to say that I’m under constant pressure…insane levels of pressure. Being in the spotlight day in and day out will make anybody go crazy. Sometimes I even wonder who my friends are and question who I would count on in a rough moment if I had to. But you just spread my entire life out on a timeline in a way that made everything completely visible and obvious. No detail was left behind.

When I first came into your program, I thought I was just signing up for some stress management techniques. In reality, I really did not know how deep that stress went, and how complicated I had made things over the years. At first, I thought you were going out of your way to insult me and make me feel uncomfortable. I will be the first to admit I hung up on you a couple of times and had a few “choice” words to say in e-mail. But you didn’t give up on me (God only knows you probably wanted to). Only now do I appreciate how you were trying to shine light on all those places in my mind I wasn’t willing to look at.

Genetics are just the beginning of this journey. They’re just a skeleton on which all that “meat of life” hangs on… as you said “the framework that gives the chaos of life some predictability and stability”. Honestly, most of the time I just thought you were enjoying listening to yourself talk… But over time, the words just grew on me. You guided me to an understanding of how genes are “flexible”. I can now see how things I’ve done in the past and decisions I’ve made have actually changed the way my body responds to its surroundings. This is all more than just techniques. It’s a lot more, but unfortunately, I just can’t put my finger on it. It’s a feeling, if that makes sense.

All I can say is that this “process” of yours, it’s special, and what you’ve done means so very much not only to me, but also to my family. I’ve gone from a nervous wreck on Xanax to a veritable warrior. I know I’m not invincible (who is?), but I still feel as if I have the space and focus to take on anything without excess emotional reactivity. If you only knew how long I was searching for this piece of mind. Actually, I think that you of all people know!

Cardiovascular health

I lost my father to a heart attack when I was seven years old. It rocked my world. My mother and family tried to console me, but I was unreachable. I went into a deep dark cave, far from emotion of any kind. I felt like a I had lost my anchor in life, and every decision from that point on was made as a reaction to that loss. I’m only talking about it now because of the work we have done together.

When I came to you, I was a successful director of an advertising firm, but my personal life was anything but normal. I had a raging pot habit that I was mixing with two different antidepressants. On top of that, I was drinking alcohol. It made for some interesting inspiration in my creative efforts, but I was constantly up and down, and I had no idea what kind of havoc I was wreaking, what kind of pain I was causing in others people’s lives, especially the ones close to me. Everything came to a halt when I got my first chest pains in the middle of my sister’s wedding. I ruined the wedding that day as an ambulence drive me away to the hospital. The doctor said I was a goner and wanted to perform open heart surgery that very day. I don’t know how I did it, but I refused. I made a decision in that moment that I was going to understand how I got to this point… I was going to reverse everything naturally without medicine and without surgery.

First up on my process of discovery was DNA, since my father died of the same problem, around the same age as me. Yeah, he had a similar lifestyle, but I knew it was fanning the flames. Unfortunately, I didn’t get answers right away. I went to a professional geneticist, and all they could tell me was that I had some mutations that could put me at risk for ARVC. The cardiologist said the geneticist was full of it and vice versa. My eventual formal diagnosis was atrial fibrillation with “long QT”. They said my drinking habit just pushed things over the edge. Not one doctor mentioned the antidepressants!

I decided to take matters into my own hands and start looking outside the box. I scoured SNPedia, loaded my data into Promethease, and even did a few of the automated, online reports (you know which ones I’m talking about). All of them just put me on a wild goose chase. I had already made some changes to my lifestyle and weaned myself off the pot and alcohol, tapered down my antidepressant dose, and was eating tons of seafood, olive oil, and limited sugar in my diet, but my a-fib wasn’t getting any better.

I’m so grateful I found you. What took me over two years of research, you figured out in just a couple of minutes, on the first consultation we had with each other. You told me that there was dysregulation of both potassium and calcium channels in the heart in addition to a tendency for excessive clotting and oxidation of cholesterol. Within just two short months of working with you, I saw a low LDL:HDL ratio for the first time probably in my life. I felt at ease, not only because there were far fewer skipped beats, but also because we had addressed all the other areas of my neurobiology that played a role in addiction, anxiety, and anti-social behavior.

I just wish I had come to you sooner. I could’ve avoided a lot of frustration from going down blind alleys. More importantly, had I known what I know today about my genetics, I could have sidestepped the pattern of self-abuse that led to my problem in the first place. You’ve given me a new lease on life and I feel like I’ve now got the knowledge and tools to not just live longer but also sustain productivity without resorting to bad habits!

GI Disorders

I grew up always having a feeling that I am fragile. I was insecure, depressed and dysregulated for most of my life. I had a really hard time losing weight, so I went vegan at one point for many years, which sent me into a spiral of various diets, including keto.

Just a few months after stopping veganism, I had a near death experience, or what I thought was one. I had chills spanning my brain, intense neck pain, trembling, and weakness. The doctors had no answers, and I was left to figure it out on my own. For the next few years, I would go through intense sick phases. Once a year I would get weak and lethargic for a few months at a time.

Eventually, I would have nerve pain almost every night, which prevented me from sleeping. I had no concentration and was constantly failing at every task I put myself up to. I could not advance my education or achieve the positions I wanted to achieve because of this. Anxiety ruled my life.

All of this came to its peak when my body could not go on any longer, and I became mostly bedridden and unable to stand for longer than a few minutes, at just 22 years old. I was scared to drive for fear of fainting and had to have most of my meals prepared for me most days.

Miraculously, I was referred to John at the perfect time. To my absolute amazement, his program had me back on my feet in just a few short weeks. I found out that my problems were rooted in my gut through massive dysbiosis, which I or any of the doctors would have never guessed.

The months after that, I was feeling things I hadn’t felt since childhood. Hope and joy for life. I was able to start supporting others, instead of having to have others support me constantly. I began enduring harder and harder life challenges socially, also not possible for me before. Eventually I was able to go back to reading books and remembering what was in them.

Those around me noticed I was glowing more. My loved ones told me I became more beautiful. Simply doing the protocol daily had me in euphoria, even when I was feeling crummy from die-off reactions. None of it mattered—my body knew change was coming after suffering for years.

I am eternally grateful for John’s help and understanding of my situation, as he is the first person who was finally able to see what I was going through on a macro and micro level. Despite having more healing in front of me, the bulk of the work feels like it’s behind me, and i certainly don’t feel fragile anymore.

Alcohol and drug dependence

Sometimes you have to be hit over your head a hundred times before you get a message. I’m one of those types. When they told me that that alcoholism runs in my family, I never really took it seriously. I knew that my mother and father drank on occasion, but I personally never wanted to touch the stuff. It wasn’t until my parents went out on a vacation one fateful weekend that my sister and I got into their liquor cabinet and polished off a bottle of Bacardi rum. Needless to say, I spent the next two days retching. Still, I couldn’t shake the memory of how I felt two hours prior to passing out…I was in touch with raw, unfiltered emotions and a sense of meaning in everything I was experiencing. Some sort of switch have been flipped and my brain felt what it had been missing.

The hangover was severe enough that I didn’t touch alcohol for sometime after that, but as challenges in life presented themselves, I began using it as a go to to ease the pain and boost my mood. It went from a once in a while crutch to feel good to an every other day binge. I spent the greater part of 15 years going to bars to meet people and “feel human”, and life outside of that brief reprieve seemed flat, depressing, and absent of meaning. During the day, I was a high functioning professional. I could hold down high-pressure jobs and meet deadlines, but the stress would quickly build. Even though I tried exercise to relieve the steam, only alcohol could “scratch that itch”.

I went through Genita Petralli’s “101 Program” on three separate occasions, each time feeling like I was freed of the habit, but the desire kept creeping back in stressful moments. Given enough pressure and stress, I would eventually collapse and start drinking again. It didn’t matter how many affirmations I made and how many people I hurt, I got to the point where I couldn’t escape the pull of that dopamine rush I would get after drinking a bottle of old Merlot.

How none of the people in the rehab clinics know about your work totally baffles me, because what you do is so much more effective than all the other programs out there. There is really no comparison! Although it did put me at ease that you personally dealt with addictions in your own past, it was your scientific explanation of my brain chemistry (especially glutamate receptor resistance and how it affects the ability to feel “reward”) that totally turned things around for me. I knew until that was corrected, I’d always be chasing after that high.

I did my best to keep up with what you were sharing with me and all that reading material you gave me …. and though I feel like I understand how my brain works a bit better, there is still a little bit of magic in what you do that, as far as I can see, has nothing to do with science. I think other people that have worked with you probably know exactly what I’m talking about. Just getting on the phone with you, for only a half hour, is enough to give me a sense of centeredness and calm. It’s like all my thoughts and worries just calm down and fade away. I remember, in the really rough moments of this process, I sensed you were like this huge “redwood tree” (sorry, it’s the only way I can describe it). There is this strong, undeniable feeling of safety and solidity in working with you. I felt like I had an angel’s wing over my shoulder every minute of the day. I know it may sound crazy to people hearing this, but you were even showing up in my dreams!

I look at who I am today compared to two years ago I first came to you, and I can hardly recognize myself. So much has changed, so many things have shifted. During that time, I would have told you that nothing was happening. But the difference between “now” and “then” cannot be ignored! I’m not even in the same line of work anymore. I’m following my passion now as a private journalist and ghostwriter. I was always afraid to do this before, constantly feeling shame about my weaknesses… now, I feel like I could walk through a hurricane unscathed. I’ve already been through some intensely stressful moments, and the idea of drinking doesn’t even cross my mind. It’s like it never happened! I hope you’ll be able to bring this process to a wider audience. There are so many people that could benefit from it!

Pain reduction / elimination

I was in a bad car accident several years ago, and sustained fractures to my neck, right arm, and left tibia. I went through several operations and a long, grueling process of physical therapy for over two years, but the pain in my neck persisted. I had the misfortune of being a patient of one of the doctors that liberally prescribes Oxycontin. He didn’t think twice before giving me a prescription for my neck. After the second refill, I could already feel the effects wearing off, but the doc said I should taper down and use something else because of the potential for addiction. I was enraged when I read how dependency can set in for some people in as little as 2-3 weeks! I didn’t pursue a lawsuit because this behavior seems to be the norm these days. You know, responsibility is basically on the patient’s shoulders.

I tried cutting it out, both in increments and then cold turkey, but I always started getting soul-crushing anxiety, insomnia, and mood swings. After going through that several times, I decided I’d try and stay on a low maintenance dose until I could “figure things out”. This led me to start buying Oxycontin on the black market, illegally. I honestly don’t know if I what I was getting was a real thing or some mystery chemical made in Asia, but it was doing the trick, so I didn’t worry too much over purity. Unfortunately, over time, I had to continually increase the dose. Within just a year’s time, I had already switched over to harder opiates like Hydromorphone, which is basically just like “the big H”. I quickly started having problems meeting my commitments at work and was taking so many “sick days”, that my employer finally got curious enough to ask what was going on.

I didn’t reveal my addiction at that time, but knew I had to find an intervention and asked for extended leave to solve some “health problems”. I did not want to go to rehab, because I already knew people who had done that, spent thousands of dollars, and ended up going right back to dosing (or shooting up) just a few months or even days later. I was fortunate enough to have a friend that had already consulted with you on a similar issue. Having known her for many years, I knew that her results were the real deal. So I don’t think twice about it and booked a consult.

I was skeptical that working remotely with someone could be as effective as staying at a clinic, where they basically pin you down and make you do things, often against your will. But I didn’t want my employer to find out about my problem so I chose to keep things secret. I always had strong willpower and I knew with the right information, I could kick this addiction and find other ways to deal with my pain. I can’t fathom how you’ve come up with your methods, but I can say they work and how! The whole concept of gradually cycling off things, increasing receptors, and coercing the body to produce its own endorphins… is just brilliant. I’m oversimplifying here, of course, but the point is you keep the body guessing, and it never gets used to one thing. A lot of people out there who are taking huge doses of Kratom, for example, simply go from one addition to the other, and end up with just another dependency.

I don’t know if you do this for everyone, but the combination and the timing of everything really worked for me. I had almost no cravings, and although there were a few rough moments, I was able to push through them without excessive discomfort and get to the other side. It was bearable… nothing like when I tried to quit in the past. Knowing my genetics for GABA, dopamine, opioid receptors, and even sex hormones helped me understand why I was so vulnerable to opioid addiction. Now, instead of putting band-aids on things, I have strategies to mitigate pain including oxidative stress reduction, putting a ceiling on my “reward triggers”, and tracking estrogen and progesterone.

You gave me so much detailed information, including peptide research, special “endorphin-enhancing” exercises, not to mention the specific dietary guidelines. I followed the regimens as best as I could and feel like I’m at the point now where I don’t need any support at all. I can finally say I’m living pain-free! I know you told me many times that you don’t want to operate a clinic, but please… think about it. Even if you could just package your process so that other people could follow it, you could help so many. Just read the news (I know, I know). I’m not the only one with this kind of addiction.

Only people that have been through this understand how difficult it is to overcome. You not only helped me kick the pills, but also showed me how to “change my brain” and develop habits that will last me a lifetime. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Really, I mean it!

Strengthening of memory
(working, short, and long-term)

It’s always been easy for me to remember people’s faces, but putting a name to those faces has always presented problems. I thought it was just selective memory, but as I got older, I realized it was holding me back in a lot of other areas in life. This weakness was completely exposed when I landed a public relations job that involved dealing with literally hundreds of people every week. We had a CRM system that contained all the details of our clients’ representatives, but it wasn’t always possible to have those details at my fingertips, especially when I had to do rapid-fire calls or connect several people at once to coordinate multi-tiered activities. I would frequently get names confused or even details about the companies they work for, even though I was exposed to this information on an almost daily basis.

We lost a really big client over a mistake I made, and though I didn’t lose my job, I got pretty close to it. It really scared me. I wanted to do whatever I could to fix this problem. At first, I had turned to nootropics and then, eventually, to various neurofeedback programs. I even spent some time working with the IMEP program, but after months of exercises for mental agility, brain integration, and all the breath-work, I was still finding difficulty in keeping certain threads together at work and doing things “on the fly”. I knew there must be something more than methods and techniques.

A friend of mine saw one of your ads in a local health journal in Texas and immediately rang me up to tell me about it. My first impression was that it’s just another glossy health optimization scheme, but after reading a couple of your blogs and following you on social media, I figured it was time to make contact. Am I ever glad I did! I was ready to try anything really, so when you asked me to do the whole genome test, I didn’t waste any time. What you are able to drag out of that data still astonishes me to this day. I don’t know anywhere else I could’ve found out about my roadblocks in LTP and neurogenesis, especially the genes for “neuroplasticity”. Don’t get me wrong, all that stuff is out there if you look for it, but you have to make your own sense of it.

The problem I had was that I could remember short-term facts, but it was the persistence of objects, places, and people that troubled me. I can see now that no amount of brain exercise could get around this problem without first addressing underlying neurological blocks. Working your program has been such an enjoyable process for me. I’ve achieved a level of mental clarity I haven’t had at any other time my life. I can now read things only once, as many as 50 pages of complex material in a single sitting, and recall every detail! I no longer have the slip-ups at work or forget people’s names. All the information I need is now at the tip of my tongue, almost like a file cabinet.

Just last week, I found out I’m being considered for a promotion at work because of my increased ability to think outside the box and connect facts that, on the surface, don’t seem to have anything in common. With your guidance, I’ve not only re-discovered abilities I always knew I had inside me, but now there’s the added confidence to follow through on things that would have scared me in the past. It all comes from having a deeper understanding about myself, from the inside out.

I can’t recommend you enough. Part of me wants to keep your work a secret, but the other part knows how many people could use your help… so I’m going to keep telling people about the program.

Body and brain inflammation

Many years ago, I got into a bar fight, and a bouncer beat me within an inch of my life. I sustained several severe concussions around the right parietal lobe and cheek. I’m now numb on the entire right side of my face. I spent the greater part of three months on disability, nursing my wounds, and trying to get my head together to the point going back to work, but it never happened. I just sank deeper and deeper into a dark, black hole. I was having night sweats with delirium and insomnia. There was also severe anxiety from not being able to make plans for myself or figure out what my next step was going to be. I was completely lost.

I connected with one of the best docs in my town, and he put me on Hydrocortisone in combination with Zoloft! They just made things 10x worse, and when I told the doc about it, he suggested I try another antidepressant. Forget that! I did eventually get out of the house and find a job, but I was performing so poorly that within just 2 weeks, I was fired. Then came the CBD oil, which I was getting some relief from but with that, the brain fog became so intense that I could only do the most basic jobs. Around the time I found your site, I was driving Lyft and basically tethered to a GPS system to get around town. The system was buggy and often went offline. It was really stressful and I was frequently getting lost. Customers were getting real angry, and I almost got in a fight with one of them. That could have led to more head trauma had I not somehow diffused the situation! But it was a huge wake-up call. I needed to find out what was going on with my head. I didn’t want to live like that anymore.

The first thing we talked about was for me to do that blood brain barrier test. You told me to swallow a GABA tablet to see if I felt any relaxation from it. At the time, I thought that was very weird because I had head trauma and figured that’s where the problems were, but you explained how that GABA wouldn’t have any effect unless the blood-brain barrier were open. Apparently, this meant that other large molecules that shouldn’t be there could cross the barrier too and increase brain swelling.

That report you gave me was a bit over-the-top (sorry). Still, I understood some key points. One of the things that stuck out for me over everything else was the part about “astroglial inflammation”. I’ve got the genetics for increased scar tissue and less scar breakdown after brain injury. It just wasn’t enough to pop a corticosteroid pill and hope that that would solve the problem. Together, we tackled a bunch of different approaches… even when I didn’t even know what the heck you were talking about, I still can’t get over how you made super complex concepts easier to understand.

It’s no exaggeration to say that you turned everything around for me. You had me doing everything from putting ice on my head and shining red lights around the skull to strange (but enjoyable) meditation practices while sitting out in the sun in the morning. I didn’t question anything. I just did it. And the result? I’ve taken what you gave me and ran with it! I’m now helping soldiers with post-traumatic stress disorder and watching them come out of the fog too! It feels great to be helping people, but even greater to be living a life without a constant cloud of confusion and anxiety. Thank you, sir!

Last October, I became very sick with severe headaches, nasal congestion and shortness of breath. The doctors couldn’t find anything at all. Absolutely all the tests were normal. Soon after the symptoms appeared, we discovered some mold on the second floor bedroom ceiling, were I sleep. As it turns out, there had been a slow leak from old roof damage that we weren’t aware of, and the mold had actually spread all across the attic floor and down inside bedroom walls. At that point, it became clear to me that I was having some sort of a reaction to it.

We paid thousands of dollars to get the problem remediated in the house, but months after that, I was still experiencing the symptoms. I did a urinary mycotoxin test, but none of the results showed high levels! On another therapist’s advice, I was taking micronized curcumin to help with brain inflammation and had even implemented some PEA (palmitoylethanolamide). They hardly put a dent in my cognitive impairment. I continued to feel this frustrating stuffiness in my frontal lobe, intermittent headaches, and the inability to think clearly. It wasn’t until I consulted with you that it became clear the toxins from the mold were still present in the fat cells of my brain. Further, I learned about my genetics for increased susceptibility to inflammation as a result of exposure to allergens, especially mold.

Within just six months time of intensive sweating in an infrared sauna several times a week along with dietary and supplemental support, my issues have completely disappeared. There are things you shared with me like Ibudilast and cryohelmets that I had never even heard of, but they made such a huge difference. These days, I’m hypervigilant of any potential for mold exposure, but even in the event it happens again, I know exactly what to do. It’s a relief knowing I’ll never have to endure those symptoms ever again!

Advanced problem resolution techniques

My company provides engineering solutions for startups. We have to constantly remain on the cutting edge, as our solutions can make or break the market viability of customer products or services. Sometimes, it is very difficult to model things in such a way that can mitigate risks, and we are faced with the demand to come up with non-standard strategies. This requires a lateral thinking approach, aimed at greatly shortening time to deployment. This means going through endless considerations with my colleagues, frequently involving many disputes over the details of our solution.

I am the senior engineer in the group as well as the program manager. When the customer has an issue with the solution, I am basically the one that gets the “heat”. We use a wide array of strategies in our discovery process, including Apollo root cause / Pareto analyses, fishbone flows, and various proprietary computational models. I’m personally a big fan of good, old-fashioned brainstorming, but regardless of the techniques applied, I was having considerable difficulties steering the group in the right direction and we were consistently missing our promised deadlines. I knew there should be a way to improve our process and solve customer problems in less time.

When I first heard about your program, I thought it was just for health optimization and self-improvement. You know, nothing special. I liked your ideas about helping people realize their visionary potential, but I did not see any direct relevance to my specific engineering concerns. It wasn’t until I ran into an acquaintance of mine that had consulted with you for help with idea generation, that I knew you were the guy I needed to help get my scientific discovery process to the next level. Sorry, but I have to say… you’re just so damned brilliant! There is absolutely no way I would’ve thought to combine things like “walking backwards while visualizing mechanical properties in reverse” or other gems like your “threshold REM technique for random association”. I’ve been sharing these strategies with the rest of the team, and the connections we are making are absolutely surreal. Seriously.

Don’t worry, I won’t share too many of your secrets here, but you should know: you are a scientist in your own right, and as much as it pains me to say it, a philosopher as well… and that’s quite rare. Your concepts surrounding the need for a stronger connection between the subconscious and hard scientific facts seemed, at least to me, like some ill-conceived Jungian psychobabble. But you know, after spending some time to absorb everything you presented, especially the relationship of human biology to our “psychological apprehension of science”, my opinions have changed. It is a higher form of logic for me now. Still, there are a few things I won’t share with the team. I’d prefer to maintain my credibility, thank you!

I hope you will think about doing corporate training or at least some formal technical seminars for larger groups. I know you have said you are against doing this, but please reconsider it. I think a lot of people in my line of work could benefit from your methodology. Then again, it could be I am alright with you keeping these ideas “under wraps”. After all, it may not be a good idea to give our competition the edge!
